The Rhythm of the Frog

Maddy Dittmann is a first-year student at AU majoring in Health Science (Pre-OT) with a minor in Neurodivergent Studies. She has always loved expressing herself through writing and appreciating the beauty and radiance that nature has to offer! When she’s not being creative, she

enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and reading.

See them leaping like there’s no tomorrow,

As they bounce happily from tree to tree.

It’s as if they are gliding through the sky,

Bearing bravery and might as they soar.

You can spot them coming from far away,

With their bright colors and signature growl.

The vibrance may be a sinister sign,

But every croak is a gleeful greeting.

Even when camouflaged, hidden from all,

Their gaze travels wherever it wishes.

With every call, every glance, every jump,

They wish for much love and adoration.
